Description

Convex Road Mirror Weatherproof Traffic Safety Mirror for Junctions, Car Parks & Site Exits

Blind corners and restricted-view exits are where accidents happen. This convex road mirror gives drivers and pedestrians a wide 130° view of approaching traffic, so they can see what is coming before they move out. It works as a convex traffic mirror for junctions and yard exits, a car park safety mirror, and a warehouse safety mirror for aisles and loading areas.

Choose 45cm for shorter distances, 60cm for medium distances, or the large 100cm mirror when you need the longest viewing distance on busy sites.

The mirror is made from moulded polycarbonate (PC), which is weatherproof and highly impact-resistant, so it suits outdoor and indoor use. An integral anti-glare hood helps reduce glare from sunlight and headlights, and the bright orange finish makes the mirror easy to spot. As a pole-mounted convex mirror, it comes with an adjustable swivel bracket that lets you fine-tune the angle for the best view of the blind area. Installation fittings are supplied. The pole is not included.

Which Size Convex Mirror Should I Choose?

  • 45cm (450mm): Best for Car parks, yard exits, warehouse aisles, and shorter viewing distances
  • 60cm (600mm): Best for Busier junctions, wider sites, and medium viewing distances
  • 100cm (1000mm): Best for Large sites and busy junctions where you need the longest viewing distance and the biggest, clearest image

As a simple rule, the further you need to see, or the faster the traffic, the larger the mirror you should choose.

How To Install Your Convex Road Mirror

  1. Choose a pole with a diameter of 60–64mm. The pole is sold separately.
  2. Decide the mounting height. We recommend 2.4–3 metres (8–10 ft).
  3. Fix the adjustable bracket to the pole using the supplied fittings.
  4. Angle the mirror towards the blind area using the swivel.
  5. Check the view from where the driver or pedestrian will be, and adjust again if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which size should I choose: 45cm, 60cm or 100cm?
Choose 45cm for car parks and shorter distances, 60cm for busier junctions, and 100cm for big sites and the longest viewing distance.

What pole does it fit, and what height should I mount it at?
The bracket fits a 60–64mm pole (not included; fittings supplied). Mount it at 2.4–3 metres (8–10 ft) and use the swivel to set the angle.

How far can I see, and can I use it outdoors?
The 45cm shows up to about 10 metres and the 60cm up to about 15 metres. The weatherproof polycarbonate shell suits outdoor and indoor use, and the anti-glare hood helps reduce glare.
